I’ve been getting so many great questions on my Instagram about how we’re making full-time travel work for us, when we have three young kids and a thriving business. I’ve said it before, but travel has always been important to us. We definitely had a few years of staying close to home when the kids were babies and Brian was at his sickest, but by the time Stella was in Kindergarten, I had the itch to travel again.
Read MoreWhen Brian and I were dating, we always dreamed about travel. We had a list a mile long of all the places we wanted to see together. Ever since then, I’ve always said that I work to travel. Growing up in small-town Arkansas, where people tend to stay put for generations, I knew there was a lot of world out there that I wanted to see.

If you’re planning a Disney trip, you’re probably trying to decide whether you should stay at a Disney resort or somewhere off-site. On one hand, you have convenience, and on the other, you could save some money. But my philosophy is that time is our most valuable currency, and thats’s one reason why I’m so glad we stayed at the Grand Floridian! I loved our stay at the Grand Floridian so much that it’s my #1 tip to having the perfect first Disney trip!

Brian started eating gluten-free when we discovered that gluten was a huge contributing factor in his illness that I talk about in Sleeping with a Stranger. I eat gluten-free most of the time, because I just feel better when I do! If you haven’t read about the trip we took with Stella right around this time a few years ago, it’s worth a read! While we were there, we discovered that Disney has great food in every park, but we couldn’t have anticipated how many incredible gluten-free options there were.

I often joke that I work so I can travel. So when we check off a a bucket-list, whether it’s Disney World, Montreal, or Prague, I want to have video footage that we can enjoy forever! In 2018, I finally invested in some quality camera equipment so I could up my video game.
Read MoreA few years ago, I took my daughter Stella to Disney World. Every year, my husband and I try to steal time away with just one of our three kids, so solo trips aren’t unusual. But when Stella was five, I just had a feeling that I needed to go on a trip, and we needed to make it extra special. It’s like some part of me knew that I needed to give her my undivided attention that week. When I did, I noticed something that I might have otherwise missed. I saw Stella transform from a little child into a young girl before my eyes.

When Brian and I took Stella on a solo trip to Disney almost two years ago, we spent an entire week visiting all the parks, and man did we eat! We were mindful about where we ate, trying to find the best mix of incredible food, kid-friendly spaces, and gluten-free meals!
Read MoreIf you’re keeping up with our travel vlogs, then you know that we walked and ate our way through Montreal. Well just after Montreal, we hopped on a train to Quebec and started our adventure there! The train was really the first adventure. I’m convinced it’s one of the easiest ways to travel with a bunch of young kids. I’d first learned about this fun way to travel through Canada from Anthony Bourdain. His episodes on Montreal and Quebec were some of my favorites, so we took inspiration from him throughout our trip.
