Best Gluten Free Dining Options in Disney World

There’s no place like Disney World for incredible gluten-free dining.

Brian started eating gluten-free when we discovered that gluten was a huge contributing factor in his illness that I talk about in Sleeping with a Stranger. I eat gluten-free most of the time, because I just feel better when I do!

If you haven’t read about the trip we took with Stella right around this time a few years ago, it’s worth a read (and watch, too)!

While we were there, we discovered that Disney has great food in every park, but we couldn’t have anticipated how many incredible gluten-free options there were.

Most GF people know what foods they can eat that are naturally gluten-free— lots of protein and veggies. But when you’re on vacation, it’s natural to want to indulge. And indulge we did!

So if you’re a GF eater, here are some of our favorite gluten-free meals and snacks in Disney World!

Cookes of Dublin in Disney Springs

This Irish pub is kind of a GF dream for those who love bar food. This is a perfect spot if you’re craving incredible gluten-free versions of foods that are usually… not so great without the gluten. We had fish and chips and onion rings. They were so so good and definitely satisfied that breaded, fried craving.

Sometimes, you just don’t want to eat grilled chicken strips anymore, right? These GF fried chicken strips are perfect for a quick lunch when you’ve been missing that crunch.

Again, I feel like one thing you really miss out on if you’re GF is texture. That is not the case with these GF Churros. A gluten-free fried dessert! Nothing wrong there.

I think the thing Brian was most excited about was the GF cupcakes we found at Sprinkles in Disney Springs. You’ve gotta have all the good GF baked goods when you can find them!

GF pasta and pizza. Need I say more? It’s the one genre of food that seems like it just… couldn’t be made gluten free. But Brian was in heaven with his pizza and pasta!

Now I’m gonna share some gluten-free dessert options that may seem obvious to some but not to others! These may have been a daily indulgence for us.

The famous Disney dessert is certified gluten-free, vegan, and delicious.

Popcorn

I’m convinced that the reason Disney always smells so good is because of the popcorn. And since it’s corn, it’s free of gluten and full of flavor.

Ice Cream

We ate at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in Magic Kingdom and really enjoyed it! Brian loves his sweets, and it was so fun to indulge together with no consequences, other than some tight pants.
