What to Do and Where to Stay in Quebec with Kids

If you’re keeping up with our travel vlogs, then you know that we walked and ate our way through Montreal.

Well just after Montreal, we hopped on a train to Quebec and started our adventure there!

The train was really the first adventure. I’m convinced it’s one of the easiest ways to travel with a bunch of young kids.

I’d first learned about this fun way to travel through Canada from Anthony Bourdain. His episodes on Montreal and Quebec were some of my favorites, so we took inspiration from him throughout our trip.

Like usual, we stayed in Quebec’s Hilton hotel and again, like usual, we loved it.

Quebec has a quaint historic district, Petit-Champlain that we had the best time exploring.

The Funicular ride, a cable car to the top of Old Quebec, is beautiful and efficient.

As for food, we listened to Anthony Bourdain’s suggestions (from Parts Unknown season one episode four, if you’re in the mood for a good show!) and visited L'affaire Est Ketchup and Le Continental. They were both amazing!

And of course, we couldn’t skip out on a playground stop for the kids!

On one of our days in Quebec, it rained all day long, so we found this indoor playground and the kids had a blast!

Overall, we were huge fans of Canada! Want proof? Check out this video of our trip!
