Finding Freedom in Finances with Cammie Palmer

Welcome to Zimmerman Podcast episode sixteen. Today, I’m sitting down with one of my students, Cammie Palmer! I first met Cammie when she was in the wedding of a bridal client, before I even created my signature course, The Business Behind the Blooms. Cammie then bought BBB to help her figure out how to run her wedding rentals and floral business. Cammie is sharing how she changed her money mindset through my program Know Your Numbers so she could turn her barely-surviving business into a flourishing career. So let’s give a big Zimmerman Podcast welcome to Cammie, who has had the unique position of seeing me up close as a floral designer and wedding planner, as a brand new educator, and now, as a seasoned coach and mentor. Let’s dive in.

How to Reflect with the Future in Mind

Why does it seem so easy for kids to own what they’re proud of, but it’s so much harder for us adults? As we head into the last day of 2019, I want to talk about how we can celebrate our 2019 accomplishments, take inventory of some things that maybe need a little work, and plan for the future.

I’m a future-thinker, so it’s not easy for me to reflect. But we can’t know where we’re going in the future without reflecting on the past. I’m sharing my best end-of-year tips for reflecting on the past so you can transform your future.

How to Own Your Story and Produce a Life You Love with Sheri Selata

For this episode I got to sit down with THE Sheri Salata. Sheri is the co creator of The Pillar Life, author of The Beautiful No, and former co-president of Harpo Studios and the Oprah Winfrey Network. She was also the executive producer of the The Oprah Winfrey Show. While her list of accolades is long, Sheri tends to define herself by the simple title that has most defined her life: storyteller.

During our conversation, I got to hear Sheri’s story first-hand, from her days with Oprah through the personal reckoning that became the inspiration for her book, and what her life looks like now. In her book and in this interview, Sheri gracefully grapples with issues like honoring your body, knowing when it’s time to explore your own passions, and bravely embracing a wholehearted life. By the end of the episode, I was so moved by Sheri’s wisdom that I kind of lost my cool and sounded like a blubbering idiot. It really was a dream-come-true experience getting to talk to her.

On today's podcast, we're officially going there...

PARENTING! I'm sharing my 10 best tips for how to parent children like the complex human beings they are, not just like tiny children!

Questions with Rachel: Getting Started, Client Care, Day-of Stress, and more...

Welcome to the first episode of Questions with Rachel!

Rachel is a Bloomer turned Zimmerman team-member, which means we first connected because she took my course the Business Behind the Blooms, and then she came on to the Zimmerman team in January of 2019.

Rachel has a foot in both worlds-- she’s a student and floral designer, mom and entrepreneur, but she also gets to see the inside of team Zimmerman and the inside of my brain as she helps me communicate with our audience and students.

Each month, we’ll have an episode of Zimmerman Podcast called “Questions with Rachel” where Rachel will ask me real questions that we get asked all the time and haven’t been able to answer in depth on Instagram or Facebook. She’s also going to throw some of her own questions in there, just to spice things up.
