I don’t know if there’s a parent alive who, at some point, didn’t dread bedtime. It’s a perfect storm. We’re usually too tired to be our best parenting selves when our kids start to fight bedtime, and it’s one thing, like mealtimes, that kids know will happen every day. At some point, I decided that if I could hack my own day by breaking it down into a set of smaller routines, then I could create a routine that made bedtime easier. We start the kid’s days with a wellness routine, and this is how we support them with their evening routines!

Now, hopefully the precautions we’re continuing to take because of COVID will also help prevent colds and the flu this Fall and Winter, but I like to take a few extra steps to make sure these three little kids in my home are supporting their immune systems and staying well.
