Even before we starting full-time traveling, my kids were always on the hunt for a beach day. Keep in mind we lived in rural Arkansas. Beaches were not easy to find. You might not think our luck would have been much better… in Arizona… in the dead of winter. That’s where Lake Powell comes in.

When we visited, it was winter time, so we didn’t get to rent a boat and go on the lake, but if we come back for warmer weather sometime, we definitely will! When you visit Page, it isn’t for cool downtown shops or great restaurants, it’s for the natural beauty all around.
Because of that, we went to the grocery story, ate in the Airstream, or packed picnics for our stay in Page.
