Our visit to Marfa, Texas was the perfect example of why we decided to full time travel in the first place. It was a town we never would have visited by chance. It’s not on the way to anywhere else. We had to drive three hours to Marfa from Carlsbad, but when you have a empty calendar and an open road, you have the freedom to see out-of-the-way places you’ve been dreaming of seeing for years and years. Marfa is one giant hole-in-the-wall in the best way.
