We’re looking back at the first episode of Questions with Rachel! Rachel is a Bloomer turned Zimmerman team-member, which means we first connected because she took my course the Business Behind the Blooms, and then she came on to the Zimmerman team in January of 2019. Rachel has a foot in both worlds-- she’s a student and floral designer, mom and entrepreneur, but she also gets to see the inside of team Zimmerman and the inside of my brain as she helps me communicate with our audience and students.

White Sands is exactly what it sounds like— a huge expanse of white sand, actually gypsum, which is a substance found in toothpaste and drywall. This gypsum dune field is nearly 275 square miles large, which is so huge that it can be seen from space. I know it might not sound super exciting, but I can’t overestimate how beautiful and majestic it is to look upon miles and miles of gleaming white sand dunes.
