The Untold Story: Under the Cover

Today, we’re looking back at one of the Zimmerman Podcast episodes leading up to the release of my memoir, Sleeping with a Stranger, when we took a look “under the cover” as I share insider information about the story and process behind my memoir. Zimmerman team member, Rachel interviewed me about the deeply personal and never-before-shared details of my journey through living and writing this memoir. You won’t want to miss this episode! Let’s go under the cover.

I can’t wait to share the story with you!

The untold story behind success

This memoir is a huge departure from what I usually share about: business. In this book, I share what was really happening behind-the-scenes during the time my business experienced rapid growth and success. I also write about losing my sister, my life growing up (cringe-worthy moments included), mental illness, fear, control, death, grief, friendship, becoming a caretaker at the age of 33, family dynamics, and so much more.

I’m still scared to share my story, but my hope is that it will encourage and resonate with readers.

A bigger purpose

My husband, Brian, plays a big role in this book. I’m sure readers will wonder what he thinks about my sharing so openly. Brian fully supports me, and I know we were given this story to live and write because we might be the only two people who would actually share it so publicly. As with most things, I’m willing to share, and Brian is willing to trust me, even when it gets tough!
