The Best State Park in Nevada! | Vlog Ep. 20
We’ve visited three types of parks on our full-time travel tour of the US: national parks, playgrounds, and finally… a state park!
Valley of Fire State Park has beautiful sandstone rocky outcroppings, hikes perfect for young kids, and lots of little pebbles for truly awful magic tricks from my five year old.
Check out the vlog above to see some big horn sheep, early morning Stella giving Brian some major side eye, and how sometimes climbing the bigger rocks requires a little help from a friend.
Make sure you watch to the end to find out which Nevada hike is the unanimous family favorite!
Here’s what’s in the running…
White Domes
Rainbow Vista
Pink Canyon
Mouse’s Tank
Fire Wave
Elephant Rock
If you find yourself in Nevada, check out Valley of Fire! Although I wouldn’t go in the middle of summer unless you really want to roast. Be sure to check out the other places we explored (including links) in our Valley of Fire travel guide!
