Petrified Forest National Park | Vlog Ep. 14

Petrified Forest National Park— a place where you can wander through the woods and the desert at the same time and not see a single leaf!

Sounds like the beginnings of a bad riddle, but that’s exactly what we found in our most recent adventure through the rainbow forest of petrified wood.

This national park looks like an art installation, and we had a blast exploring the forest both while hiking and driving through the park. Check all the details (including GPS coordinates) in my Petrified Forest National Park travel guide here.

While staying in the nearby town of Holbrook, we all embraced some more normal and mundane Airstream realities, like doing laundry at the KOA with Stella, Perry serenading us on his banquette stage, and Brian knocking out a tooth and still having the best attitude of anyone in our family.

Check out the video above to see all the fun!
