Nancy Meyers Inspired Beach Elopement
It’s the year of small weddings,
and I can’t think of anything better than an oceanside Nancy Meyers inspired elopement.
You all have been loving my Nancy Meyers home blog from a few weeks ago, and it got me thinking…
What would a Nancy Meyers inspired elopement look like?
Well, I think it would look a lot like this!
Beachy glassware
Nancy is all about texture and neutrals. What’s better than simple glassware wrapped in cane? I love how casual and comfortable it feels, but still totally special.
Lunaria
Lunaria, or money-plant, is a dried flower pod that is white and shimmery, like an opal. It’s the perfect addition to any arrangement, whether you’re using it with dried flowers or fresh! The Lunaria is light and delicate, reflecting light and giving that subtle texture that reminds me of typical Nancy Meyers style!
Sweater dress
What’s more unexpected on a beach than a turtleneck sweater dress? It’s total Diane-Keaton-in-Something’s-Gotta-Give vibes! It reminds me of walking on a breezy beach which a fresh tan and windblown hair. It doesn’t get more romantic than that!
Textured plates
The secret to a perfect table-setting is tonal, textural color combinations! I love organic, not-so-perfect plates, stacked for interest.
Rose gold flatware
Keep your flatware unexpected with this rose gold set. The modern lines and subtle color play off the complex neutral theme, making each detail all the more special!
I’m hoping to see some Nancy Meyers inspired real weddings in these last months of 2020!
