My Podcast Journey

My podcast journey thus far:

1. Claim I'll never start a podcast. (This step lasts a few years)

2. Realize I need to start a podcast

3. Tell my team we're starting a podcast

4. Choose a name, format, and start brainstorming episode topics

5. Buy a podcasting mic, sound-proof my least-used closet with some foam, and get a podcasting program

6. Hire a podcast producer

7. Write my intro and convince Doug Budin to do the voice work for my intro

8. Write and record episode zero

9. Secure sponsors and affiliates so we can afford to make content that is free to my audience

10. Write episode outlines, record episodes

11. Release episode zero wherever podcasts are found

12. Find amazing, unique, aligned guests to record episodes with

13. Repeat step 10 until I lose my voice

14. Write show notes, gather links, create free resources

15. Create podcast website (coming soon!)

16. Repeat step 10 some more

17. Rearrange and finalize season one layout

18. Tweak. Record. Edit. Re-record.

19. Ask you to subscribe, rate and review (repeat).

20. Prepare for podcast launch, November 5th, 2019, when SEVEN episodes will drop at once!
