Why Winter is the Best Time to Visit Zion National Park
It’s mid-June and most of the western US is currently experiencing record-setting heat.
This week’s vlog showing off our trip to Zion National Park will be like a breath of fresh air— or a dip in an icy stream.
When we visited Zion National Park, there was snow on the ground, dried leaves on all the trees, and best of all no people!
I can’t tell you how much we loved visiting Zion in the winter. The colder weather was nothing we couldn’t handle with a little snow gear and a bike ride to warm up.
Wild turkeys foraged for food and bright red clay soil poked through the scattered snow.
I couldn’t imagine it being any more beautiful, and I would visit Zion in the winter again in a heartbeat! I think it’s totally underrated. See all the places we explored (including exact GPS coordinates) in our Zion National Park travel guide.
So if beating the crowds sounds like a win for you, watch the video above to find out why Zion is the perfect winter national park destination!
