My Top 7 Favorite Disney Dinner Experiences

If you’re an adult visiting Disney World, then at least 50% of the magic is in all the incredible food options.

When Brian and I took Stella on a solo trip to Disney almost two years ago, we spent an entire week visiting all the parks, and man did we eat!

We were mindful about where we ate, trying to find the best mix of incredible food, kid-friendly spaces, and gluten-free meals!

Here were my 7 most magical (GF!) dinners in Disney

  1. California Grill

The fireworks in Magic Kingdom are visible from California Grill, so it’s a perfect dinner spot! The fireworks start at 9, so we got an 8:30 reservation. Some people pass up the California Grill thinking it’s not “family friendly,” but the fireworks are totally worth it, and we felt totally comfortable with Stella there.

  2. Epcot’s Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

This was one of the best meals we had in Disney! With GF pizza and pasta, Brian was in heaven! Epcot is such a great place to end the day because you can eat dinners from around the world.

  3. Epcot’s Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Disney travel pro, Jenny Ellis suggested that we visit the Princess Storybook Dining on the same day as the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique so that Stella would be all decked out in her princess garb when she went to meet princesses! At Storybook Dining, you’re guaranteed to meet most of the OG princesses, and Stella loved being able to meet them while dressed like a princess herself.

  4. 50s Prime Time Cafe

This was my favorite place we ate at the whole trip. The atmosphere was amazing, fun, and casual, and the food tasted great. In fact, Disney’s Hollywood Studios was my favorite park!

  5. ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Think of a Brazilian steakhouse feel with special Disney charm. This is a perfect place if you’re gluten-free because it’s very protein heavy! It’s a family-style meal, and we ate steak, shrimp, and pork until we were stuffed! Some people neglect the resorts because it seems like a headache to leave a park to eat at a resort, but since The Grand Floridian, where we stayed, has so many transportation options, it was so easy to travel to resorts and parks alike! No reason to pass up the resort dining.

  6. Epcot’s Le Cellier Steakhouse

Le Cellier is in the Canada pavilion of Epcot and has some of the best steak in all of Disney. This was a perfect opportunity to feel like we were at a world-class restaurant without worrying about bringing kids because we were in Disney!

  7. The Boathouse in Disney Springs

This waterfront restaurant in downtown Disney is the perfect dinner spot with its stunning views, three bars, and mouth-watering menu. I had an incredible Lobster roll, and Brian had a great (gluten-free friendly!) steak and potatoes.

We loved finding dinner spots in resorts and parks that were fun for Stella, tasty for us, with plenty of GF options for Brian.
