My Five Favorite Evening Routine Essentials

I love routines.

My therapist once told me that I’m an entrepreneur at life, which basically means that the part of me that is always seeking to improve, hack, and streamline never shuts off. It’s not relegated to my business world.

I apply it to everything.

It shouldn’t surprise you at this point. I’ve shared my morning routine, my kids’ evening routine, and now it’s time to share my own evening routine!

Now, let me start by saying that I have not always been in a space of life where my evening routine looks any fancier than shoving food into my mouth after babies are asleep and falling asleep to the piercing blue glow of my laptop.

But life is different now. For one, my entire family now sleeps within 200 square feet of each other, at opposite ends of a rolling Pringle can.

But also, things are different now because I know that how I prepare my body, mind, and spirit for rest directly impacts the way I wake up the following day, and how much energy I have to meet the day.

I want to set myself up as best as I can, which is why I take my rest so seriously.

Play hard; rest hard.

Okay, I know I’ve talked about this product before. But I cannot tell you how helpful this has been to my health and wellbeing, and you better believe it made the cut when we were downsizing to stuff our 3,000 square feet worth of stuff into our Airstream. I knew transitioning from sleeping in my home to sleeping on the road could be interesting, and I’m glad I have these in my toolbox.
